We stayed at the Loch Insh Chalets Ltd Villa and although we didn't have a lake view, the chalet itself was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including a spacious kitchen with a big fridge and dishwasher. Our 8, year, old especially loved the unique fort, like room in the roof area. the property as a whole was stunning with beautiful views of the lakes and there were great play areas for younger children. We also enjoyed walking trails through the woods and around the lake. It's a perfect base for exploring the Cairngorns and the Whisky trail. the location and staff were amazing, and the ski instructor, Murray, was excellent. We also had a delicious meal at the on, site restaurant and the service was top, notch. the hot tub had a small issue, but it was quickly fixed after we reported it to reception. it was a memorable and enjoyable stay. Cons: Nothing to be said.

We got great value for our money at Loch Insh Chalets Ltd. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location was fine, with beautiful views of the Loch Insh and the surrounding area. The staff were amazing, especially Murray who taught us how to ski and the lovely waitress who served us.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better was more variety in the menu.

The location of the chalet was fantastic, with beautiful views of the loch and surrounding hills and mountains. It was also great to have a restaurant within walking distance, making it convenient for meals. We also loved the activities available, especially the paddle boarding and the 20% discount for staying on-site.
The chalet could use some modernization, as there were a few issues with the furniture and kitchen appliances. the chairs in the living room had springs coming through, and the kitchen lacked some necessary utensils like scissors.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery and plenty of footpaths for walking and running. It was also conveniently close to Aviemore for shopping and other amenities. Another advantage was the peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
The lack of cleanliness in our cottage, with the fridge and microwave needing cleaning before we could use them. The cupboard doors were also hanging off, and the towels provided were of poor quality.

The cabin at Loch Insh Chalets Ltd was a cozy and warm home away from home. Despite some minor issues, my overall experience was good. The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot tub with the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of activities. The bed was firm but comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchen facilities were sufficient for my needs, and the bathroom, though slightly outdated, was clean. I also enjoyed the lovely view from the cabin, adding to the tranquil atmosphere of the location.

The view from our balcony was stunning, with breathtaking scenery all around. We also loved the surprise Christmas pack waiting for us, complete with mini Proseco bottles - a much-needed treat after a long drive. The location was great, with a beautiful walk down to the loch shore and plenty of opportunities to take in the natural beauty. Plus, the watersports activities on offer were fantastic, providing plenty of fun for both kids and adults.
It would have been helpful to have access to a reliable internet connection throughout our stay. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired, with quite a bit of dust on top of the wardrobes and higher surfaces.

The location of the chalets was excellent, with picturesque views near the loch. The watersports choices were superb, offering plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The staff were very approachable, chatty, and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly good quality, with a variety of freshly cooked options.
The rooms were in need of a deeper clean, with dust on higher surfaces and on the shower's extraction fan. The furniture and appliances were tired, and the kitchen was not fully equipped.

The chalet was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The location, right by the frozen Loch and snow-capped mountains, was fine.
Breakfast delights were limited, could have had more variety.

We had a lovely stay at Loch Insh Chalets Ltd. The location was beautiful and the chalets were comfortable. One of the highlights was the log burner, which kept us cozy throughout our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals.
There were a couple of drawbacks. The bathroom was a wet room, the whole floor would get wet after each shower.
